The Heteropatriarchy

You can’t evaluate the heteropatriarchy, without also looking at
the three pillars of white supremacy, and the ways these systems work
to create social hierarchies.
The first one is slavery and capitalism,
which essentially commodifies blackness,
turning people into objects
slavery never dissipated,
it just evolved into the Prison Industrial Complex. The next is genocide and colonialism,
which relies on the continuous erasure
of Indigenous communities,
while non-Native people steal their land,
and use it to fuel their capitalisic punaties.
Lastly we have orientalism and war,
which positions America as superior,
when really this is just a carefully constructed, false exterior.
With other nations as the threat,
we funnel our assets into war –
profiling people from other countries,
while their deaths become unaccounted for.
To dismantle the Heteropatriarchy,
we must also recognize,
the effects of colonialism,
and how we’ve become polarized.
Instead we need to stand together,
and transform our economic democracy,
into one that serves the people,
and not its own hypocrisy.
For who knew such a republic,
as it currently stands,
could be such a nation,
under god,
that would render bodies invisible,

and be such an unequivocal facade.
